Janet Hadler

Janet works in the forensic and clinical mental health field and is the mental health consultant to the Child Medical Evaluation Program at UNC-Chapel Hill. Janet is also a cellist/composer and has studied music composition at UNC - Chapel Hill for the past several years. She plays with the Chapel Hill Philharmonia Orchestra. Janet has also attended the Chapel Hill Chamber Music Workshop every summer for the past 10 years, and has brought some of her compositions to this workshop. She has a son, daughter-in-law, and daughter who work in the medical field. Her older daughter works in the classical music administration field and lives in Tel Aviv with her husband, Guy - principal flutist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and their 19 month daughter, Zoe. Janet’s partner, Barry, is a photographer. His son, Alex, is a singer-song-writer and auctioneer.
