Smith, Spencer & Pasley

A local trio of musicians from Alleghany and Grayson County. Martha Spencer is an internationally known traditional musician from Whitetop, VA. She grew up playing with the Whitetop Mountain Band in which she continues to perform along with a solo career, a trio with The Blue Ridge Girls, and a duo with Larry Sigmon. Kyle Dean Smith is also a Grayson County musician who has played with greats such as John Hartford and currently plays in the band Gap Civil with Lucas Pasley, who is a traditional musician and singer songwriter from Sparta, NC. Lucas has released one solo album of original material and performs regularly throughout the region. In this performance, Martha, Kyle and Lucas will highlight their original songs and material in addition to selections of traditional and country music.
